i'm at my house in Martha's Vineyard and, despite the bad weather, i'm loving every moment of it. i feel so at home here and i have been looking forward to my dad's cooking since the first week i moved to boston! hopefully tomorrow will bring sunny skies, but if not i'll spend the day watching movies curled up on the couch with my dog and my best friend Christie and baking cookies.

i love being lazy on rainy days.
crazy party last night at House of Blues. A-trak and Major Laser were DJs. Jaime and i had a little too much fun! first we hit up Bleacher Bar to get free drinks from my bartender boy. i met some more people that work at Karmaloop--looking forward to more fun times with them. a lot of great opportunities are coming into my life right now and i feel so lucky.

this weekend i:
- went to an awesome party at the Institute of Contemporary Art
- saw Dan Deacon and the insanity of his DJing
- met a ton of awesome people that work at Karmaloop, including Greg and Dina Selkoe
- found out i might be on a reality tv show
- attended a crazy after party at our office
- spent way too long roaming the aisles of Shaw's, loving every moment
- watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (so good) and Nights of Rodanthe (not so good)

and now i'm anxiously awaiting the season 2 premiere of True Blood. i think i might treat myself to sushi from Rice Bowl. yumm.

this week has been a very strange one, so i'm glad it's over...if only for the fact that some i received some very sad news on Monday night. hopefully this weekend will bring some happiness and fun. there's a party for Karmaloop at the ICA in Boston with Dan Deacon as the DJ. if you don't know who he is, look up his name on youtube and you're sure to find some inspiring videos.

re-cap of yesterday: had an awesome day at work, went to bleacher bar at 4, had way too many drinks bought for Jaime and me by old business men, sauced by 4:30, trash talking yankees fans by 5, was asked for my number by a very attractive bartender, had an amazing dinner of french fries doused in ketchup (thanks for that Jaim), loved every second of my first game at Fenway park watching the Sox continue their winning streak of 7 games!

the karmaloop party was so much fun last night. i met so many awesome people from the office and that own brands that we carry. there were so many fashionable people there it was great to just look around and get inspiration from everyone's outfit. there's another party at the ICA next friday and i'm really excited for it.
