sorry for the lack of posting this week. i've been very busy because i just moved to Boston! i'll be living here for two months working as a marketing intern at Karmaloop.com it's an amazing online clothing company that cares about and listens to its customers to build its brand and product base. i'm so excited to get to be a part of the karmaloop team and i can't wait to start work on Monday! so far i am loving Boston...my apartment is so nice, it's great location, i love my roommate, and i can't wait to explore the city. a new city=a new outlook. it's going to be an awesome summer...i can feel it.

so NYC was outrageously fun and it made me so excited about living in boston this summer. it was so great to re-unite with my best friends and be true single ladies.
now back to reality!
today was my first day of a new workout plan and natural/non-processed food diet to get in bikini shape for the summer. Marisa Miller is my inspiration because her body is ahhhmazing. if only normal humans could look like her... but i guess in the mean time i'm gonna work my hardest to get somewhere close to it! wish me luck!

monday means back to reality and i am not happy about it! this weekend was ridiculously fun. friday was definitely my favorite day of the famous spring weekend here at UConn. we spent the entire day playing drinking games outside at our friends apartment. they had a DJ playing from the day into the night and it was definitely the place to be. it was just one of those experiences that will define my time here at college. warm weather, friends, and complete happiness. it finally has hit me that this is the last week of classes and i'm sad at how quickly this semester has gone by. but i'm so excited for this summer in Boston and on the Vineyard. and of course, senior year is going to be amazing. one more year with no real responsibilites = heaven.

after having my life temporarily turned sideways on monday, i spent a few days being sad and figuring myself out...but now my normal mantra that 'everything happens for a reason' is kicking in. every disappointment in my life thus far has led to something positive, so i can only hope that this will be the case for my current situation as well. sometimes you have to let go to see if there was anything worth holding on to.
i'm looking at this as a chance for me to grow independently and focus on me. with that, i've decided to revamp myself. i'm going to spend as much time with my friends and going out and having fun, i'm going to spend my free time working out/at the gym, i'm adopting a new diet of natural food and eliminating all processed food, and most importantly i'm going to stay positive. the thought of starting fresh is really exciting to me and i can't wait to see what the future holds.
