hilarity

today was completely crazy and hectic, but i loved every minute of it. my best friend and i babysat 6 girls for the past 10 hours. ranging from age 4-10, these little tykes were hilarious to be around. we spent the gorgeous vineyard day cruising in the suburban with music blasting and singing, going to an old diner and ordering way too many french fries, visiting an alpaca farm (which are cousins to llamas and camels), and going down the water slide at the beach club way too many times.

i forgot how much fun it is to babysit! i can't wait to do it all over again tomorrow.

i got back last night from an awesome long weekend in nyc and nj. we spent the days frolicking in the city, with lots of shopping, a guggenheim trip, lunch in bryant park, sushi dinners, a movie trip to see the amazing inception, and relaxing nights in with a bottle of wine. i made some great purchases, including a louis vuitton damier ebene speedy 30, a great turqouise banded skirt, a neon pink lace bra, a lose skull tank, a tan fedora, and a brown/black tee all from h&m. i also found the perfect scent that i was looking for, Burberry London.

hopefully the weather will clear up for a gorgeous weekend in the Vineyard.

i can't believe it's already the weekend. tonight is a party at the yacht club sponsored by mount gay rum for the around the island sailing event. tomorrow night is a classy event at the shanty sponsored by gosling. it's going to be a funn couple of days!

i just had pretty much the most perfect weekend that i could imagine. complete with dressing up and dancing for the yacht club ball, fun times at the bars, lavish after parties, gorgeous weather and beaches all day, dinner and drinks on the water, sunset harbor cruises, singing karaoke, and laughing with amazing friends. i could not ask for a better weekend or a more enjoyable summer. i can't wait for what's to come!

please excuse the lack of posting. i've been travelling for the past week and i just started work at a clothing store in town. i can't believe it's already 4th of july weekend! i'm so excited because this weekend is probably the best of the summer... everyone comes back to visit, boat parties, barbecues, fireworks. and best of all, my best friend is coming tonight for two weeks!
